The Glory of the Ascension (Acts 1)

We often pause to ponder the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus and yet rarely reflect on the Ascension of Jesus. Even after His resurrection, the disciples believed Jesus was going to establish His kingdom nationally and geographically. Jesus teaches them that His kingdom is going to be established throughout the entire world as His Spirit gives them power for witness. The Ascension is often overlooked and yet is critical to our faith.
