Last week we looked at how Bible defines freedom not merely in terms of what we can do but who we are in Christ Jesus. Who are we in Christ Jesus? What bonds us together with Christ? The only possible answer is the Grace of God that we experience through Christ. Through grace we are related to Christ and that becomes our identity as a believer. As believers of Christ, we become subjected to God's commandments. What is the purpose of God's commandments? If we are free in Christ, how do we make sense of God's commandments? The letter to Galatians points us to the love of Christ as a response to these questions.
