Liberty Grace Church is looking for two Community Liaison Workers.
The purpose of these positions is to develop programs to serve the Liberty Village community, particularly identifying vulnerable populations and looking for ways to meet practical needs and reduce isolation in the community.
The workers will develop client service, teamwork, communication, digital skills, and leadership during the placement.
The positions are for eight weeks, 35 hours per week. The work term will begin on either June 27 or July 4.
English is required. Applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment, be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and be legally entitled to work in Ontario. International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
