The human heart, by its fallen nature, is restlessly inclined to search for security, identity, and meaning in everything but God. Though Scripture declares that God is sufficient, we wrestle with the tension between the truth of God’s sufficiency and the fear that His provision may not meet the practical, emotional, or spiritual hunger we carry. This struggle shows up in our doubts. We doubt God's timing, especially when prayers seem to go unanswered. We doubt His care, when suffering feels relentless and silence meets our cries. We even doubt His love, when our sense of unworthiness looms large. In these moments, the promises of God feel more like distant ideals than living truths. The human impulse to take control, to secure life on our own terms, often overtakes the call to trust and rest in the sufficiency of God.
But into this fragile space of uncertainty and striving, God speaks not with condemnation, but with grace. The gift of His presence is not reserved for those who have perfect faith, but given precisely to those who falter. Come join us on Sunday at 4 PM as we explore the gift of God's presence that whispers truth into our fear, steadies our wandering hearts, and teaches us to see His sufficiency not as a distant doctrine, but as an experienced reality. We gather at 31 Atlantic Avenue
