The book of Exodus begins with the good news of God’s blessing being fulfilled—Israel is multiplying and growing into a great nation. However, this good news is soon overshadowed by tragedy. A new Pharaoh rises to power, ruling with oppression, enslaving the Israelites, and even enforcing state-sponsored infanticide. This naturally raises a difficult question: If God has blessed Israel, why does He allow them to suffer so terribly? The weight of human suffering often challenges our understanding of God’s goodness. How do we reconcile His goodness with the reality of deep suffering? Join us this Sunday as we reflect on one of the darkest chapters in Israel’s history and wrestle with these profound questions.

We meet at 4 PM at 31 Atlantic Avenue! Following the service, we’ll enjoy a time of fellowship together. We look forward to seeing you there!

Regards

Godfrey
